Our Mission
The Association Overcome Hate is intended to fight racism, anti-Semitism and anti-Muslim hatred, defend its victims, and educate the public about the problem and its consequences, in particular, through the compilation and presentation of texts, images, videos and materials in any other medium, historical or current, that convey hatred.
Among its actions, it compiles iconographic documents containing elements, manifestations or symbols of racial hatred, anti-Semitism and anti-Muslim hate; as well as refusals and resistances against these manifestations.
The website www.overcominghate.org shows these images, tries to explain them, to debate them and to help Internet users, teachers, students and researchers to better understand how art has been instrumentalized for a very long time. It has been used to impregnate societies with hatred, until today, through hate speech on the Internet – as well as to fight hatred -.
The association Vaincre la Haine works in several countries to go beyond the prejudices and hatreds that arise, with presentations, conferences, preparation of pedagogical materials, and participation in public debates and defense of the victims of racial hatred, anti-Semitism and anti-Muslim hate.
